Senbu

Page history last edited by ElfWord 17 years, 1 month ago

During the late 21st century, old Japan had developed a powerful program to design a biomechanical human replicant. This program would give a birth to a new line of robotic engineering unlike anything seen before. While robots and androids had existed for many years, these new replicants were a pinnacle of biotechnology. A synthetic creation of modified human DNA and powerful biotechnology, the replicants were indistinguishable from real humans save for the most advanced detection abilities.

These new forms were called the “Senbu”; the apex of robotic evolution. However, things drastically backfired. As Japan transitioned into the newly created UCA, the Senbu united and enacted a deadly plan. Dozens of newly created Senbu had infiltrated various levels of government, these extremely deadly assassins created chaos as they murdered many key members of Japanese and UCA governments. A long war emerged.

After a few years, the Senbu suddenly disappeared. All of them had gathered up and left known space. A hundred years later, they re-emerged as a fully functioning empire; a machine nation, with their entire culture was based off the principles of the triangle and the Golden Ratio. They have dominated the aspects of computing technology, with major advances in biotech. New replicant lines were made, ones that were symmetrically perfect and unflawed.

A vast host of ‘primitive, mechanical’ robots serve the Senbu Empire. Biomechanical fighters and ships fill the vast fleets of the Senbu, with power in numbers. Space vessel designs, while extremely efficient, tend to lack the strength and range of Terran crafts. Many Senbu fleets have been seen and a large number of clashes have occurred with the PRG and various Prime Collective races. So far, no one has located the Senbu homeworlds.

The replicants believe that they serve a great purpose, that a ‘Great Architect’ has a perfect, methodical plan drafted for them. Obsessed with math and their fervent belief that they are divine servants, the Senbu are slowly seeding replicants amidst normal societies, gathering information and planning their intervention… whatever that might be.
