Oijja-lu Dynasty

A powerful dynastic Imperial Monarchy, the Oijja-lu is extremely obsessive with order and hierarchy. They are divided into a caste system. Genetic modifications are common amongst the lower castes to ‘improve’ their performance. Castes have complete differences in genetic and physical structure. Lower castes employ heavy uses of cybernetics in addition. More ‘pure’ castes are higher in hierarchy. They are steeped in ancient traditions and ceremonies.

The Oijja-lu use a vastly different technological base then most of the Collective. Gravitic energy manipulation is used in all aspects of military and personal technology. The Oijja-lu Legions are some of the most powerful in the galaxy. Armored Oijja-lu troops are almost unstoppable. Oijja-lu’s vast fleets also employ advanced beam-weapon technology, although their anti-matter drives produce huge signatures on sensors. The Oijja-lu’s military forces are on par with the Prime Collective or the combined forces of Covenant Earth's member states. The two have formed a quasi-military alliance to form a powerful check on the Oijja-lu.

The Inferii Di have been engaged in a long brutal struggle with the Oijja-lu.
