Datapool

Cyberspheres feature datapools; these are large databases that virtually contain all the information generated by the cybersphere. From communication logs to i-shows to governmental reports, datapools are dumping grounds for information in the local ‘sphere. While some programs exist to keep information from entering the datapools, most data is stored in these vast databases. Manually searching the datapools is physically impossible so special search programs are used extensively. ‘Trawling’ is the act of searching through the combined datapools for specific information; ‘trawler’ programs are very commonly employed by citizens.
